just bought a new mini this week with Yosemite to replace our 2007 mini .
The 2007 was upgraded to it's max in 2010 with Snow Leopard but had started to fall back so made the leap to a 2015 model.
In checking the iTunes help topic in Yosemite for adding the music library in an external HDD storage to iTunes, I see there is a warning to NOT copy folders from iTunes to the external storage drive.
Previously I had copied the folders with art , playlists etc to the external when upgrading HDD and backup.
Just wondered if this no folder copying started with Mackericks or Yosemite ?
