If you're a fan of Andrei Tarkovsky, then this is a must see.

Tarkovsky also wrote and directed Andrei Rublev and Solaris. Andrei Rublev is definitely worth watching.

Really great movie if you like cerebral, philosophical sci fi - which I do! I'm just bummed it still doesn't seem to have made its way to blu ray.

Stalker is one of my favorite films. I also love Nostalghia. Solaris and Rublev however...

i first saw Stalker back in the day when you rented VCR's. The tape was tucked away in the Foreign section. I was mesmerized by the film and rented it a few times. I was so pleased when the dvd was finally released.

Nostalghia is/was on Netflix. Solaris might be as well.
