That will be my affectionate name for the product of my toils. (not a German stomach stone)
I picked up a set of Magnepan SMGs for $35, because one speaker wasn't working. Turned out that speaker was not repairable. So figuring that nobody had a use for a single Maggie... I trashed the working speaker. I took my new Betsys out of hibernation and fused them to the old Maggies.
Impressions are too early, only about 5 hours on them. They look fine. Surprisingly they seem to prefer rock music, but that likely is more about the amp than the speakers.
All in all, not worth the effort and probably spent too much money. But a decent distraction nonetheless. Hooray for recycling?
