All foods from soybeans arew bad to health.Soy decalcifies bones and is very bad for male virility. The people who consume more soy in the worls are Asians and their physical body is small and thin.Soy is bad for all muscles, including that.
Some more info on soy. At least the medical reports linked in the article indicate that there is nothing wrong with consuming soy, especially for men.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/15/soy-myths_n_5571272.htmlhttp://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19524224http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20378106You might also be extrapolating too much from the soy myth. If soy was indeed stunting Asian men's growth, it doesn't explain how Asian women also tend to be smaller. It also doesn't explain vastly populated Asian countries that do *not* consume soy - and are also smaller in size compared to Causasians or Africans. The Indian subcontinent is one example.Based on my admittedly limited knowledge, Asians of Chinese race lack a genetic mutation that makes them lactose intolerant. Hence they substitute animal milk with soy. So soy is not a meat substitute but milk substitute.Another thing: Although this product is called soylent, I don't think it contains soy at all. Although I am not 100% sure, I believe it is primarily made of "maltodextrin, rice protein and oat flour along with key vitamins and minerals". Yes, it is named after the infamous "soylent green" but it is more of an inside joke than anything. Here's an article about a person who lived on Soylent for a month.http://www.theverge.com/2014/7/17/5893221/soylent-survivor-one-month-living-on-lab-made-liquid-nourishment
All I want is a Cheeseburger in paradise. Scotty
The prob are medical companies are not a reliable source for info.Soy is the same case of transgenical seeds/food.But if you believe they...
Just because there is Soy in the name people are jumping to conclusions without even the minimal research. Soylent is basically oatmeal, fake sugar, fiber, some ground up sprouted brown rice, citrate powder so you don't get scurvy, salt, oil for fats (cod liver oil would be nasty but better for you), and a multivitamin.http://blog.soylent.me/post/68180382810/soylent-1-0-macronutrient-overviewIf humans evolved to survive on liquids we would all look like this:I have heard that a person can survive on ramen for years with no ill effects. A 12 pack of ramen is a little over $2 which is a whole lot cheaper than Soylent.Wayne
