1. to place speaker out into the room do you measure from the front of the speaker or rear? does it make a difference if it is rear or front ported?

2. for side placement do you measure from side of speaker to wall or center of drivers to wall?

3. distance apart is measured from inside speaker cabinet to cabinet or center of driver to center of driver?

thanks

Well, I measure from the wall to the closest edge - so from the rear wall, to the rear edge of the cabinet.

I am sure that others might measure differently, but either way will get you right in the correct neighborhood.

I use

1. Front

2. Closest side

3. Center of driver

Don't think there is an exact correct way

I use the front/center of the drivers in all cases
