Tried something crazy this morning actually sounds really good. Decided to set the magnepan 3.7's next to the Janszens. Connected the Janszens to the Jeff Roland 525 Amps and the magnepans to the Nc400 amps.
I have a Pass labs XP 30 preamp. It has dual outputs with one of them having adjustable gain. I set the speakers to the same level. I also have dual SVS Subs behind the magnepans.
I knew it violates every audiophile rule but it sounds pretty damn amazing. Imaging a little diffuse but not too bad and huge sweet spot. Anyone tried anything like this.
