For Sale A Pair of McCormack DNA-1 Deluxe Mono Blocks.
I bought these off Audiogon A month ago from a less than honest seller, when they arrived the two green lights on main circuit board did not light on one amp and only one lit on the other.
I spoke with Kris at SMc Audio (McCormack) he thought these had power supply Issue's so I had option to have them repaired or send them in and have them upgraded to their latest & greatest new levels which include's new parts and circuit boards so no repairs would be required.
Being on the conservative side I would rate cosmetic's as a 7.5.
I'm selling As Is Final Sale for $1200.00 + shipping, Insurance, add 3.25% for PayPal.
I can pack well, no power cords included!

What upgrades and what did they quote you?

The DNA-1 Deluxe version's offer better caps, resistors, cardas speaker connectors etc..
They retailed for about $400.00 more per amp.
I was quoted about $2000.00 for the latest silver upgrade, which I'm told exceeds the old gold upgrade by leaps and bounds!
Talk to Kris at Smc he knows about these amps.

OK, I'm confused -- are these working or not? Did you get the basic repair handled or are you just selling then on now that you know they need work?

I was wondering the same thing after reading the ad. There is no mention of the work done, if any. So what is the exact operational condition presently? Please mention any issues, even small ones. Thanks

According to my Tech the  amps need the power supplies rebuilt in both units, yes they power up but do not work correctly and Kris at Smc Audio told me not to run them in their current condition.
They were sent back to Smc Audio for the silver upgrade this week so if someone wants them they need to let me know by by 12/22/14.

Hi,

I've heard their modification upgrades are really good.  Sorry for the problem with the amplifiers though.
