it's pretty sad to know that Bryston has some really well designed d-amplifers to offer and "no one" really knows about them there are not many (if any) reviews to find and even here at AC everybody seems to own "only" the c-series amps or their predecessors?!? it's always nice to talk and read about the c-series amps, to show some (topless) pics and to share the experiences of how they sound and so on...but wouldn't it be worth to have something like that for the d-amps in the same manner??

so maybe you could provide some more infos and pics?

You are correct in that the class D amps do not get much notice as you say but they were really designed more for Zone amplification and not Stereo per-say.

Once again showed just what is possible in high end for not-so-stupid money.

The Model T's sound much, much better than their price tag would lead you to believe.

There are no plans for a BDP-3 as the BDP-2 has 10 times the computing power we need and there is no need to change its hardware - just software will change going forward.

TAVIS 2014

The Bryston Model T with 28Bs (Edit 7B's) sounds always good to my ears.

I actually think his speakers are the best bargain in hi-end audio.

Anybody in the market for under $20K must listen to the model T speakers .

Bryston can now present a complete system (lacking only a turntable).

The one being demoed featured the Model T Signature speakers the same as the system at the last Montreal show (EDIT – 7B’s used in Toronto instead of 28B’s).

The system had  the same lively, dynamic sound and excellent imaging.



With their preamp and power amplifier models well established in the marketplace, Bryston has turned their attention to their digital products. The latest such product is the Bryston Optical Transport (BOT-1), which adds CD ripping and playback when connected to the Bryston Digital Player (BDP). "No Computer Necessary," says the product literature, which I think is great. Price hasn't been determined yet, but I'm told it's going to be less than $1000. I've included a pair of Grado headphones in the photo just to show how compact the BOT-1 is.

This was my fourth TAVES show.  I was there on the last day, Sunday November 2nd. The average room seemed to have about four visitors at any one time, telling me the show had a significantly better attendance than last year.  The previous years TAVES was at the King Edward Hotel but this year it was at the Sheraton Hotel.  Bryston was in a good, spacious room, I think similar in size to Naim's room.  Even so, it's hard to top the large wood panelled room they had at the King Edward Hotel in previous years!  The sound this year was very good, although I felt the sound last year was more stand out.  It was louder, deeper and bigger.   But then last year Leonard Cohen's commanding deep rich voice was playing over speakers were much more expensive than the T's as I recall.

Last year it was 28B's instead of 7B's and the speakers were the same (Model T's).

I checked and yes you are right they were the Model T's last year as well.  The years are starting to merge, oh no!
