Joni Mitchell Court and SparkBelieve it or not, this is the best sounding album in my collection.
Hi Decal,Thanks for posting that. I believe it. The sound on this one is hair raising:Joni has the guys from Weather Report as a back up band. Jaco Pastorius plays his fretless electric bass. Wayne Shorter on soprano sax isn't there just for show, they play Mingus tunes. When Joni slams a close miked power cord on her rhythm guitar, you might have a vision - a pork pie hat floating in the sky. A word of caution though, you will be tempted to turn it up to 11, but each tune is preceded by a bit of live tape from a Mingus birthday party. This will come on too strong if you leave the volume up, and be the equivalent of having it set at eleventee seven. neo
