The only information I have seen on this speaker is in some of the show reports and the very little that Vandersteen has on their website. I read somewhere that the price is supposed to be about 6K.

I heard it at CES this year.  I liked it quite a lot, but others in my group felt it was bass-shy.  I was hoping for a poor man's Model 5A, but it may be closer to a better 3A.  IIRC, you are right about the $6K list.  Another nice one in that range, sorta, the VonSchweikert 4Jr had (I thought) much better bass, but not the natural mids/highs of the Vandy (and at a $4k price).

My Vandersteen dealer says the Quatro will start shipping this fall, will cost ~$6500, and is basically a 3A combined with a 2Wq sub.

Thanks for the info Mike. I guess that means I won't be trading in my 3A sigs and 2WQ's. That will make the wife happy.
