+1 things are real interesting around here for sure.  I have to say that the price on these is freaking awesome.  Active subs and one of Louis' best drivers all in a space saving design for 2k ... WOW!

That's a very cool implementation.  I'd be really interested in hearing how the RS5 sounds in a sealed configuration vs it's regular ported use.  I'd have thought for sure that it would have lost some efficiency but I guess not?

Hi All,

Many thanks and very happy you like the new design.
I'm getting started on the designs that I always wanted to do and getting ideas on what to put into the line. Got to start working more on the Speed12 driver.

The OutLaw 3 XRS will next time out have the cables done internally and will look more tidy.

Hi beowulf,

Many thanks and very hard to build them for this price. I hope to keep it there for as long as I can.

Hi seikosha,

Thanks and the RS5's are great in sealed box, but roll off at about $140Hz. he sub picks it up from there. They are even faster in reaction and transients in the sealed chamber. Plus I can make the volume of the chamber very small so the project worked out in a slightly deeper standard 3 XRS cab.

The loss is not much and no loss in bass as that's active.

Thanks,
Louis

Louis, how do you do it.  A mind indeed!  My Hoyt Bedfords are so good now I have to hear speaker.  My God.
