I would be the #2 owner of the X2 and yes I'm very happy! Very open and articulate with great bass. I have used wyred4sound sx500 monoblocks for the past few years and while they are good the X2 makes them sound dark and reserved by comparison.I think Matt described it best as being crystal clear with great dynamics but I'll add it's a rather neutral sounding amp. It has a relatively small footprint for a stereo amp which I like and it has yet to break a sweat. It's literally almost cool to the touch which is nice living in AZ!Matt was a pleasure to do business with and builds a quality product! -Tom
About all I can do is echo Tom. This is a great, compact, powerful, sweet sounding amp, the best I've ever had, and over the years I've owned many of the usual suspects. The tank-like build quality is off the charts. It just oozes top-grade craftsmanship. It came along just when I was looking for a new amp, and I feel lucky that the timing was perfect. Thanks, Matt.
All those photos and not a single one of an assembled unit with the cover off. Odd.
Do both (or either) of the mono modes, 4Ohm and normal, work when the mono input is fed a single ended signal via a RCA to XLR adapter plugged into this amp? Thanks in advance,Paul
Hi, I'm new to this site. I was wondering if you have any plans on building mono amps based off the Hypex NC1200 in the near future? How does the NC1200 compare to ICE and Pascal? I've owned Bel Canto Ref-500m, Wyred 4 Sound SX-1000, and D-Sonic M3-1500m. Thank you
