a] It's highly unlikely that any modern radio station is operating enough out of spec to cause the problem.
b] Ferrites solve problems but using the is an art form. (see below)
c] While this paper has Ham in the title just skip the Ham stuff

"A Ham's Guide to RFI, Ferrites, Baluns, and Audio Interfacing"

The basis of this tutorial is a combination of my engineering education, 55 years in ham radio, my
work as vice-chair of the AES Standards Committee working group on EMC, and extensive research
on RFI in the pro audio world where I’ve made my living.

I note that the paper mentioned above also recommends twisting your speaker wires.  Have you tired this yet?

I switched speaker cables to flatlines

So what I did is I brought my Linn Ninkas back to the front L&R, set up just the RDs, my CD player and my preamp. I also changed the short speaker wires I was using for the monos with my Nordost flat lines.
Went minimalist.
Results, I slight hiss in tweeters, which I assume is normal and acceptable. That hiss may have been there all along, but you know how it is. When your searching for something, you use a microscope.

I am going to slowly reintroduce components. I am going to be switching equipment racks so seems like a good time to do it. I also need to get my cable management in line.

I did changed the RCAs with a pair of Transparent music plus’.

This simple setup sounds really good. And I just placed the speakers where they landed.

Im thinking I may have found the problem. Speaker wires. I have been running the system all day with my Nordost and a very slight hiss, but no radio signal.
So far so good (fingers crossed)

Hi Jonvin01, now that your getting mind back together, what about the cable fanatics that say you must elevate your speaker cables off the floor.....check out (www.mapleshade.com) and they sell things to do that. Also Cardas speaker interconnects has these little wooden blocks. Sorry, I just had to throw another wrench in there. Take care...Mark Korda
