I understand the Brazilian music production industry was so tightly controlled by the few who owned vinyl production facilities that the launch of CD was delayed a couple of years while that last bit of profit was squeezed out of vinyl and CD production was established. In those days it cost a couple of million dollars to pay for the equipment for a CD manufacturing facility. This kind of dreck (Push Together) is symptomatic of a sick industry.

CD was release here in 1985 by Philips w/imported CD204 14bits player overpriced in more than 100% in regards Europe price;
