Phono Stage for Well Tempered DPS Power Supply.
« on: 25 Jul 2014, 01:18 am »
Hello, my first post here. I am purchasing a Well Tempered Versalex with the DPS Power Supply. Just reading up on it says it has 2,  12V outputs for running additional audiophile components such as phono stages. Sorry for my ignorance, but basically what Phono stage can be run off this? Can I run 240V? (I am in Australia) or does it need to be 12V Battery phono stage. Is it an improvement running Phono through the Power Supply?

Thank you.

It was the p75.  I used the dps successfully to drive mine for a while before I replaced the p75.
I felt there was a small overall improvement from doing so and put this down to removing the switch mode wall wart that previously powered the p75 from the scene.
