Alternatively it would be a dream to have 8" bases for monitors, such a modular design would be very exciting Then add 12s too : )

Though I have placed an order for a 12G with Rythmik, I still want to buy two double eight subs. There is a thread in this circle where Danny (or someone) declared two eights would be equivalent to a single 12. The double eight (20"H x 10" W x 14" D) would fit into my room much better than two 12" subs. I will have fewer WAF issues with the double eights, too.

This works for me. I'm sure YMMV.

If your Asian (Taiwanese) wife is like my Asian (Vietnamese) wife,
you should not have any problem with the WAF.
But, not all women are the same,
even if they have many things/behavior in common.
