Hallo Bryston!
I bought (secondhand) 2 Bryston amps (4B sst2 & 6B sst2) and a Bryston SP3 to drive my home theatre/music setup.
Not long after I made this purchase, I had to head off to Australia.
Believing I was doing the right thing, I took them in to the local certified Bryston workshop to get converted.
The conversion was fine; when I finally got set up in the new digs they were just as wonderful as ever.
Unfortunately, the 4B stopped powering up one day after about 6 weeks. I took it back to the workshop thinking it was under warranty, but they are saying that I need a part that costs $600 to repair my unit, and that it's not under warranty because it's not in the US anymore.
Is there anything I can do to sort this out, or is my warranty just voided until I get back to North America?
Cheers!
