Hi. Could you describe the sonic differnces to me between KT88 tubes and EL34's? What difference will that extra 10 watts make in my setup? And can I put a KT88 tube in a 302B?

I love rock music, but, I have a very small room (maybe 11' x 12') and somewhat effeciant speakers (Definitive Technology BP7004's) which are rated at 92Db and I also have an SVS PCi 20-39 subwoofer. Since I have a good sub, would the 801 be a waste of money somewhat? And in my small room would the extra 20 watts be unnoticed?

Im looking for a forward sound with a lot of omph! But still musical and engaging

P.S. What tubes should I use? I hear svetlana is very good, and JJ\Tesla is supposed to be good and forward.
