Never much paid attention to college ball until my daughter went off to Penn StateBill O'Brien did a great job keeping things together after the sanctions but everyone knew he was biding his time waiting for the call from the NFL.I'm looking forward to an exciting season with new coach James Franklin at the helm starting with there first game in Ireland against UCF.
Big 10 got hammered pretty bad. Not 100% positive, but I don't think any Big 10 school won a football game today. To top it off, Ohio State is behind and it's currently the 4th quarter.
Nice that my Hokies broke through on a big game! I sure hope that this is a change in the program. It's nice to have a QB with consistent confidence. (Logan Thomas had all the talent in the world but geez, the inconsistency. )
Looks like all sanctions against Penn State have been lifted immediately by the NCAA so they are now Bowl eligible with its full allotment of scholarships. No surprise here IMHO.College football is big money for the NCAA as well as the BIG 10. A weakened Penn State is bad for business. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2191521-ncaa-announces-immediate-end-of-penn-states-bowl-ban-scholarship-limits?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=penn-state-football
