Yes, I've read that Flickr's blog when I signed in my Flickr account, actually I didn't know there is a "National Camera Day" of which is on 29th of June.
So, I did spent sometime cleaning and dusting my camera shelves, cameras and fired all of them a few times.
Like it said on the blog some photographers today still enjoy shooting film with those old cameras, some like Hasselblad 500 and Rolleiflex (also Rolleiflex' little cousin the Rolleicord) with choices of film to suit the photographer's subject and vision still can give a great result. And some old film cameras are just quirky but fun to use like those old box cameras.
I have to say that things changes a lot since the dawn of digital cameras. But for me it is still fun to put a roll or two of films in one of my film cameras and take it out for a walk. It is just a different feel to it
