If you are in a hurry however, you may want to look elsewhere, the LH process seems to drag on quite a bit.
I'd guess this qualifies as Cheap and Cheerful? The Geek Wave DAP campaign has just put up a 32GB version for USD148. (Not such a good deal for international folks as $40 extra for shipping, but I think it's free in the US). They say it's less than it costs them to make.http://igg.me/at/geek-wave/x/5206537Capable of DSD (normal and double rate) and up to 384 kHz PCM.... Internal storage is 32GB but there's an SDXC card slot.[Edit: maybe I should have put this in Headphone Mania...]
Thanks for the offer Jason But I already went for the 64 which does include shipping.Having said that, USPS prices seem to have skyrocketed, from what I can tell a small flatrate box is $24? I seem to recall it used to be $13-14 a few years ago
Why isn't there digital out for the lower GB version? I'd rather swap XD cards than have a bulky player that costs $800 extra over a couple XD cards.

These are now available again, but for $10 more: $158
Damn... I actually need a portable player as my Sandisc just died on me...Will these ship immediately? EDIT: Damn! I jumped in assuming no delivery estimate meant it wasn't backlogged... now I see this will probably be a full year away? yuck!
