Just introducing myself
my name is Keith and I've just come across this forum
I'm on some others as well, been into hifi 30 years + now, I used to build upgrade etc
cd players, amps etc but I am disabled now so don't get quite so involved all though I've been known to
knock a cable or 3 up lol. I've recently gone back to my roots, valve amps, I've forgotten most of what i learned 30 years ago
so it's like starting afresh. I've just swapped all my solid state gear and acquired the following
Shanling CDT 100
Shanling ST80 X 2 Mono bloc's
LSA A2 Speakers (Which I have yet to unbox)
i/c is Chord chorus
sp/c is just Vanne Damm concert grade ofc copper 4 x 4mm bi wire
I am looking to (over time) take the shanling gear to the best it can get as iv'e heard some modified gear and it sounded fantastic
first on the list is swapping valves i think, when I can get my head round all the differant numbers for one valve that is
