Up for sale is a Running Springs, Duke power conditioner. I purchased this conditioner on audiogon from a fellow member who was the original owner. I used the Duke on my amp and a PS Audio Power Plant Premier, which I am selling in another ad, to run my sources. I am selling it simply because I am so enamored with it, with what it does as well as with what it does not do (compress dynamics), that I have gone out and purchased its bigger brother, the Dimitri, which runs my entire system and now I have no need for any other conditioner.
The Duke is designed for high-current, high power amplifiers and subwoofer systems. It significantly lowers the noise floor, increases dynamics and protects your system without limiting the current or with any sonic degradation. It has two outlets, a reset fuse and comes with four small (albeit useless, in my opnion) sorbothane feet.
The Duke requires the use of a 20amp power cord and this one comes with an upgraded 8-foot Running Springs Mongoose power cord made by Cardas. (Stock cord is 5-feet). The power cord fits a 15amp AC outlet and the IEC is a 20amp connection into the Duke.
