LGK 1.0 vs X-LS

Has anyone compared LGK 1.0 to the X-LS to use as computer speakers ? Since kit costs are similar, just looking for some suggestions which way to go.

Are you talking about using the speakers in a desktop environment where they will be 2-3ft apart and 2-3 ft from your ears?  Or do you mean to use them in a larger area just with the computer being the source instead of a CD/DVD/BDP?

I have both the LGK 1.0s and X-LS Encores. On my desktop with the speakers flanking my computer monitor and about 30 inches from my ears I prefer the LGKs. However, in a larger area, flanking a TV and being used as left and right front speakers for music and movies I prefer the X-LS Encores.

This does not surprise me considering the LGK 1.0s were designed as desktop speakers and the X-LS (both Classic and Encore) were designed as main speakers.

That is about what I would expect.
