AKSA Scandinavia: Visitors welcome!

Fellow AKSAphiles!

Just a short note to let you all know that any AKSAphile visiting or passing through Copenhagen will be more than welcome to stop by for a listen to the AKSA Scandinavia audio system. This system comprises the AKSA GK-1R and the AKSA 55 Nirvana (soon to become a Nirvana Plus, I hope) and a lot of other interesting things.

AKSA Scandinavia is located on the outskirts of Copenhagen (10 km from the town centre) and is easily accessible using public transport. Thus, there is a direct bus line to Copenhagen Central just a few minutes' walk from our front door.

Anyone wishing to stop by should just advise me beforehand by email (to make sure I'm available), using this very easy to remember email address: [email protected]

Visitors are encouraged to bring adequate supplies of music, accompanied by similarly adequate supplies of red wine, beer, or whisky

Bravo, Jens!

Folks in Scandinavia, Holland and nearby countries would do very well to pay Jens a visit. Peter Pesheck tells me the system is jaw-dropping, and having spoken to Jens at length, and particularly of his speaker design, I can well believe it......

I might add that AKSA Scandinavia is also easily accessible from Copenhagen Airport - only about 20 minutes drive (except during rush hours).

This would also allow overseas visitors with limited time to stop by, and - as mentioned before - all AKSAphiles are welcome, whichever corner of the world they may hail from.

Only fools would pass up the opportunity to sit with Jens for an afternoon, sip some good wine/whisky/beer (I suppose that you should bring some, yes?), and listen to a system extreme in it's elegance, musicality and sonics.

I have waxed rhapsodic from time to time, but Jens' system leaves me speechless... besides, who wants to talk when you can listen to the sublime?

Advice: come early, stay late. Bring lots of music, and be sure to get your dental work checked before you play anything with serious bass!

Hi lonewolf,

Yep, that's the system. The photo on my main page really needs to get updated, because it shows my former preamp, but since the front of my GK-1R is not entirely finished yet (needs anodizing, and the volume knob will be finished next week, I believe), I will wait till that has been done.

For anyone wanting to have a look at my homepage, there is an English version as well - just press the 'In English' link on the main page.

Sound - well, I'm very happy with it. There are still a lot of improvements that can and will be done - all in good time. After finishing the GK-1R I am going to install the Plus upgrade to my 55 N. Lots of other things as well, including improved cabling inside the speakers, using my own Equilibrium cabling (this has been tested as a definite improvement in a friends's system) etc.

We had one near-miss and I'm thinking up a long list of reasons why I dearly need to head to Copenhagen, other than that sexy mermaid, naturally.

Speaking of which, what's the deal with her? The last time I was in Copenhagen I remember being a little, uh, how shall I phrase it accurately but gracefully, underwhelmed. . .

Hi Dayne,

Yeah, it was a pity that you couldn't make it last time you were in Copenhagen.

The thing with the little mermaid is that it is exactly what she is. Little, I mean. However, in many of the photos in the tourist brochures she tends to look much larger than she really is. Hence, people are usually surprised at her (small) size when they see her in real life.

Hope you can make it to my house next time you're in Copenhagen
