Refurbished/rebiased. Found a shop here in KC that does honest work. Just got it back from them and have been running it for 24hrs straight. Works great.

Seems that these units have a cult following but I don't know why 
Does somebody or Bob Carver tweak them these days
I had one of them back in the day, probably should have kept it 

As a matter of fact now that I think of it I also had one of his receivers and the C2 preamp and Hologram generator. 
I remember when I bought that receiver back in the 80's it was the happiest day of my life and that receiver started me onto the path of Audio Nervosa  .

A couple of old gentlemen there will fix it, if it needs, for a reasonable fee.

I have been listening to it for a few days, it's a very sweet amp. I know why people love them.
And tons of power.
