Bryston powering B&W 6 series?

I have a Bryston 4BSST. I used it with a B&W 704. The sound  is mediocre. I change it to PMC LB1. It sounds a lot better. Maybe a B&W 802 will be better for a 4BSST. BTW, I once had a B&W602S3. The HF is weak that's why I moved to 704.
