SOLD SOLD SOLD For sale is a very fine sounding and really good looking Jim Nicholls KT88 based push pull amplifier (45-55 wpc) built for me just about a year ago. I've got about $1600 in this amp but willing to sell for $900 or best offer. Local sales only (NW Indiana/Chicagoland) as the amp weights almost 60 pounds and no way would I trust the shipping companies with this amp. Works flawlessly and is very powerful. There's some serious iron here (as Jim Nicholls would say)!

Check out the pics below. Condition is solid 7/10 on A-gon scale.

Paypal fees by buyer.

Thanks for looking!

Bump.

Just a comment that Jim builds amazing amps!
I had a similar  KT-88 amp built by him and I would still have it if I hadn't had to pay the ex...
Beautiful sound and it drove my Salk Song Towers effortlessly.

Thanks Alexdad54 for the comments. I obviously agree and I'm reluctantly selling to fund a main system upgrade. By the way, in my main system at the time, in my room, to my ears, the Jim Nicholls amp gave my then amp, Pass Labs XA30.5 a run for it's money (at a lot less money that is!).

Bump!

Bump for a great seller and a great tube amp builder. I bought Tim's XA30.5, but I also had a JWN EL84 based amp, so I can vouch for both seller and builder.

The JWN circuit needs to be heard, very musical. If my speakers were just a bit more sensitive, I would never have sold my JWN!
