Cheap Pioneer system for non audiophiles
« on: 25 Feb 2014, 12:05 am »
Non audiophiles as we know use low fi equipment to listen to music.  My recommendation to Pioneer to capture this market.

1.  Pioneer SP-BS22-LR speaker $126.99 free shipping from Amazon
2.  Under $100 for Pioneer amp
3.  Under $100 for Pioneer cd player

Mass production this will be a killer system.

I consider an audiophile to be someone who is interested in the technology of recording and reproducing audio, not just someone who drops megabucks on equipment. Therefore I do not think that having such a system precludes someone from being one. Or maybe a "beginning" audiophile system? My listening impressions from the Capital Audiofests bore little correlation between cost of system and listening qualities; in fact, some of the higher priced setups left me underwhelmed. You can go to a lot of concerts for $100,000.00...

What the public want.

1.  car hi tech
2.  computer hi tech
3.  TV hi tech
4.  sound low tech

Andrew Jones is trying to change the public to accept hi tech or audiophile type sound starting with good quality speakers.
