Have you tried "Sheep Dip" Scotch?  It is the best I've tried, moderately priced, maybe low $30s if you shop around.  My dear departed uncle, a Scotsman, introduced me to this wonderful drink.  It is a truly special treat.  He said it routinely was compared to the really expensive stuff.
