I still have no idea what you're getting at.

The Torus, yes, it's rated in amperes. We don't know what the official VA happens to be. It could be very conservatively rated, with concerns for power factors.

Anyways, I guess the problems over anyways.

I have a 43 inch plasma rate at 230 watts and the BDP-1 and BDA-1 both rate at about 30 watts. My Torus 2.5 is running cool.

Great news, even with the Torus acting like a heater, it survived :)
