Dave and Bob,
Thanks for the encouragement. As to whats different, the connectors on the speaker cables, and RCA ICs are totally different. The XLR and power cord connectors are improved variants of what I've been using. These have provided substantial improvements, but what I'm most pleased with are the results of applying various quantitative techniques, within the context of subjective evaluation. The choice of connectors and attachment methodology turned out to be a gradient search exercise. And the 'strength' of certain implementation processes was optimized for each cable type by length via least squares regression. I've typically found the same cables of different lengths to sound slightly different. The regression technique has provided a method to yield consistent subjective sound regardless [within reason] of cable length.
Bob, I believe you heard the KC RCA ICs last year at Mike's rave. Subjectively, the Waveform Fidelity cables preserve that musical 'body' while increasing resolution and extension. Dynamics and imaging are also improved. In other words, the new Waveform Fidelity cables are simply 'mo betta.
Regards,
Paul
