"Here's a rare pair of VMPS (Veritone Minimum Phase Speakers) bookshelf speakers. The cabinets are covered in oak veneer and are in excellent condition, as are the black fabric grills. They have "Brilliance" and "Presence" adjustments located on the front baffle. They are a three-way front ported design with a 12" polypropylene woofer, a 5" cone midrange and a 1.75" tweeter.

Power Requirements: 20 - 150 Watts RMS
Impedance: 8 Ohms
Crossover Points: 500 Hz and 4.5 kHz
Dimensions: 26" H x 15.5" W x11" D
Weight: 44 Lbs. (each)

These speakers have exceptional bass response, but are power hungry. For best results, it is recommended to drive them with an amplifier rated at 100 watts/ch RMS or more to get concert level sound from them.

"Selling this pair of speakers which are very large, very heavy and priced to move fast.

These are very well made and sound incredible. These speakers usually sell for 600-800 but I need them gone quickly so I am only asking $250 for the pair.

There is typical cosmetic wear (some light scratches on wood, a few tears in fabric) but overall appearance is very good.

Drivers look good with no signs or foam rot, etc.

I understand that I'm the second owner of these beautiful speakers.
Piano black finish. They might even rate a 9, but conservatively an 8.

Includes extra extra grill covers that have the built in wave guides, and different wave guides that can be attached directly to the drives, as shown in a picture. So, can try these with all three options (i.e. no wave guide, or the two optional forms of wave guide).

A picture of the crossover with its factory upgraded caps and wiring is included.

I have the original shipping containers and original packaging. Ships in four boxes each about 18"x 15" x 30". I can weigh each box. .

Selling because of downsizing from four speaker systems to one small one, but in no rush to sell.

I also have a pair of VMPS RM-40. These 626R sound nearly as good, except in the deep base, and probably have somewhat better focus and imaging.

Picture and ohm value will be the exact woofer you receive. The four 4 ohm woofers were used in a test for one day. the 2 8ohm woofers are have approximately five years of use.
