Funny you say that. I actually sold mine. The guy never came to pick them up. I called a few times.
His wife finally gets a hold of me and gives me the news. 2 months before he retires...

I return the money, the wife says no, I say yes. Two years ago... I love them, I was pissed I thought
I had to sell them. The money issues at the time, was a broken neck (no one knew, though).
That took 30 months a court order, and well, I can type and walk again, I don't slobber too bad..LOL
I got them running with a Cary 280 V12R holy hanna.. Yup VMPS heaven over here.. RM30s and a
few other nuggets..

Someone BUY those.. You will like them. The RMx works with a lot of great amps. The EL34 Cary is
just a dream come true with this speaker, Nord NC500, Pass Lab X250, Krell Kra100. Likes good cables
Watch the silver clad wire, with certain dielectrics. They like pure silver/tungsten ICs, best of all. But
good copper goes a long ways. Takes a little time to get right. The FST, PR. Then BAMB!!!!

The wire settles, the speakers settle, your stomach settles... Wonderfull, Thanks Brian....

The speakers are headed to a buyer in Chicago. I enjoyed my time with them but it was time to move on to something better.

I see a listing on eBay for four 6.5” mega woofers.

They look just like the ones I got from Misco a couple years ago. Same packaging too

Super Tower III, are rare.. There is a guy here that chimed in a while back, he has a pair. Look back through the thread.

Ones has a 75" ribbon, one has a 3" HFT ribbon. 3-4000.00 new vs 15-20K new

Front baffle on the STIII is corian, these are serious speakers...450 lbs or more some crazy thing.. I thought my 400 pounders
were heavy...

Single RM2 with upgraded FST, Oak sides, in black.
The cabinet has sound coat. The round driver has peel and stick sound coat.

I pulled all the drivers and stored them, Cabinets are covered. One was a botched FST upgrade.
I got them for the single RM2 and the extra drivers in the botched cabinet. Pretty good center, ay?

Or I have a LRC with FST, TRT caps and B silver wire.. It might have 300 hours on it, Maybe..

500.00 for either plus shipping... I'm in CA..

Two more centers..options...

Yes, they are heavy, over 500lbs a side since the entire speaker is Corian. Any wood finish was glued on top. Now I know a lot about VMPS speakers but I don't know if there were any variations to the STIII line up. What I have are called STIII SRE for Special Ribbon Edition. I don't know if there were any STIII that were configured differently. Good luck with your search, I haven't seen any for sale for years.

The last list price was $22,500 but you could find them for $19-20. Obviously shipping and Brian coming out to personally set up each set factored into the price.

Watch Ebay in the past few months there have been 2 sets of ST III's that sold, 1 for $2500 and the other for less...He offered to sell them to me for $1600
