I got the pair for 111.00 + 28.00 for shipping

The ones I took out were made in Taiwan DC589 8 ohm (all the info on the back)
No manufacture ID

It seems THAT part is becoming harder and harder to find.

I believe the high pass crossover for the tweeter was 2nd order, or quasi-second order, as Brian termed it.  That may have consisted of 2 different tweeter capacitors.  Two high pass caps, at different frequencies.  A lower frequency for tweeter protection, and the higher frequency to create the correct crossover slopes.  Regardless, good crossover capacitors, that Brian would have approved, aren't hard to find.  Parts Connexion carries Auricap and Dynamicap.  Both recommended and used by Brian.

These speakers were manufactured in approx 1988 and consist of 8 drivers: a 15" down-facing passive, a 15" polycone woofer, a 12" graphite woofer, 2 x 6" paper cone mids, 2 liquid tweeters, 1 ribbon super tweeter. The woofers have all been refoamed - that's 6 drivers in total across both speakers. All drivers are in good working order. Crossovers are working both the single source and bi-amp crossovers. The grills are in good shape. The speaker boxes are in very good condition and have been cleaned and waxed for a lustrous shine.
