I'm the original owner of this SVS 16-46PC+ cylinder sub.  It's in excellent condition.  525 watt Bash amp, original driver.  Includes power cord, port plug to lower tune point to 12hz (native tune is 16hz), and owners manual.  Due to the size of this sub, local pickup is preferred (southeast VA), but can offer shipping at buyer's expense.  $400

What is the size of this subwoofer?  How old is it?  This model is no longer in the SVS lineup.  What driver(s) are inside? I am looking for a sub for music, not HT.  How does this work for music?

Dimension are about 17" diameter, 47" tall.  I took delivery in January 2003.  IMO it sounds great with music; I used it in a system that's used for both HT and music and have been happy with it.  I recently upgraded, hence the reason I'm selling it now.

The closet thing in the current SVS lineup is the PC12 Plus, except the 16-46 is bigger and tuned lower and has a 550 watt Bash amp (the Bash amp has less power and lacks some of the DSP features of the current Sledge amp).  Unfortunately I don't know the exact driver model used in the 16-46PC+.  Mine has the original 12" driver that came with it.

I've enjoyed this sub very much for over 10 years, but it was finally time to upgrade (it's been replaced by a PSA Triax).

If I don't have any luck with a local sale, I may have to consider shipping (I do still have the original box).

The dB drivers aren't the same as the TV-12 drivers.  The TV-12 was the original "Ultra" driver.

The dB came in 12.1, 12.2, 12.3.  There were three different revisions of that driver, if i recall correctly.  I think the first two were silver and the last one was black, but i may be mistaken there...each revision brought improvements over the prior.  Yours looks to be the 12.1 (it would have stated 12.2 if it was the second rev)

That said, this is a LOT of sub for the money...a $400 sub that hits 16Hz!

Thanks for the driver info and positive feedback.  I've enjoyed my 16-46PC+ very much and was hesitant to replace it.

That said, I really like my new sub, a PSA Triax, hence the reason I decided to finally part with my SVS.
