I a started the rack for a 2nd system.
4 shelves are cut to size and the orange paint was flying everywhere.

Finally adding the last pieces. Hopefully I'll complete it by tomorrow evening. Now come on you knew there was gonna be some orange somewhere now didn't ya.
The rack is 39" high
Spacing - The bottom shelf is 12" and 9" between the other 2
The shelves were cut 21" wide by 19" deep.
I had Home Depot do all the rough cuts so I came home with 8-2'x2' pieces.
These were glued and cut then to size using a straight edge clamp and circular saw.
The legs are 1x3 and 1x2 poplar joined with biscuits and glue.
I bought a cheap biscuit from Harbor Freight.
http://www.harborfreight.com/4-plate-joiner-68987.htmlYou can never get the glued edge straight so I ran the glue joint thru the table saw.
This way you can't see it wasn't exact and looks great. (at least to me)
I used pre-finished 3/4" oak quarter round between the shelves. This way all the weight
is carried down to the floor. So that the #14 x 3" brass screws are not the sole support
of the weight on each shelf.
