Sorry i can't help , but i do have a question. How do you like the Oppo 103 ? By any chance do you use the NFS file mount feature?
Very nice unit. The 103/105 is a neat product that is practically a hub for plugging in different types of sources.
All I really wanted is a transport for Blu-Ray, DVD, and CD, as I have an SP1 and an SP2 and want to use the SP2 DAC. I also thought it would work well for USB inputs too, and seems to from a few initial plays. I'm not sure of a better choice (if someone does, please let me know!

, possibly the Oppo 105, but I didn't need the higher quality analog/DAC features as I assume the SP2's are vastly superior, so didn't see a need to pay twice the price for 105.
My other player is a wonderful old California Audio Labs CL-20, which is a CD/DVD player. Still sounds amazing. I mention it as it is what I used for 15 years before the 103.
The 103 video is excellent; I have a 30' HDMI run from the Oppo to a 70" Visio TV, and looks amazing.
I have a MythTV server and tried playing the recordings from the 103. I could navigate over the network to the server and select, but attempts to play resulted in a "Unknown Format" error. i don't understand, as Myth stores the files as standard mpegs. I have not investigated further yet to resolve.
