The last time I upgraded another set of the VMPS 626R's I kept looking at those ribbon tweeters that had 96db sensitivity and that mid panel that had 93db sensitivity and felt like it sure was a waste to pad them down to that 6" woofer that had only 85db sensitivity.
Take that tweeter and mid and put them over four of my M-130 woofers wired in a series/parallel configuration (back to 8 ohms) and you'd have a speaker with about 92db sensitivity that would sound really good and would be a nice thin tower. It would be a TMWWWW configuration. And the mid plays low enough to reach the extended acoustic centers of the four woofers.
Or

Do the same thing in a WWWWMTMWWWW configuration using my 16 ohm M-130's and have a 95db to 96db sensitivity thin tower design. Hmmmm......The upper ranges would drop to 4 ohms or so, but I might be able to keep it just above the 4 ohm range with a slight amount of inline resistance. That would be quite the speaker.
Add a servo sub or two and hang on.
