What’s wrong with OInkens. They are just bass relex boxes with vents down the sides.

Historica low bass shelf alignments (which i am not a fan of, many nwere builds are max-flat alignments. My miniOnkens are a differnt alignment.

True, but it essentially doubles the side walls. And they look nice.

In my mo=in iOnken the vents are high ratio and add R to the vent which is used as part of the alignment.

Kept the drivers in parallel and added a coil to the Jensen, seems to be working well.

It was just one I had, not like I tried several different values with this specific driver and this was the best.

I had just read that adding a coil drops sensitivity (amount depends on the wire gauge), so I was surprised the Jensen's are still (subjectively) providing the same bass boost as before. Main take away for me. I wanted to use a single amplifier if possible and thought I would need to bi-amp using the coil.
