Sorry guys, haven't posted in a while. I still visit here everyday (it's still my homepage), but I simply have a little shift in priorities. Shit, It's been a long time since many of you met me back at Audioreview..

Anyway, I have got into DJ'ing.

I now have:

2xTechnics 1210 MK5's
1xAllen & Heath Xone 32 DJ Mixer
2xShure Whitelabel Carts.
Sennhieser HD-25 Headphones.

As you can see there is still a little audiophile inside of me...with all of this equipment being positioned on the high sound quality edge of DJ equipment...with minimal useless features.

Still got:

Norh Marble 7.0's
AKSA 100W (non-nirvana)
Cyrus 3
NAD 340.

Currently the CD player and Cyrus 3 are out of the loop with the Mixer feeding the amp directly. The Xone 32 is a seriously good sounding piece of the DJ equipment with an audio quality approaching the Cyrus 3. It is also very expensive and is regarded as an high-quality DJ mixer, with superior sound, but less features.

No Mozart here btw...progressive, tribal and breaks are all the vinyl I own :)

Have you procured any DJ gigs or are you just mixing for fun?  That's cool you are picking up those acetates, right?

Good luck.

At the moment just for fun. I can barely mix....it's A LOT harder than most think  :o

I am unlikely to ever make money out of it, at $AU20 per song you need to be earning $AU80-100 per hour for gigs to even break even. Very few people will pay this.
