The ring was creepy and kind of scary. I thought the first Silent Hill movie was fairly creepy as well.

Just watched the 1993 version of The Vanishing last night, I will have to try and watch the 1988 Dutch version today.

A recent creepy movie I saw and enjoyed was Twixt. It was not really scary, but it was really well done. I liked the way it was put together and filmed very much.

Watch with a partner, so you can talk about it after!

Hands-down Takashi Miike's 1999 film Audition. I hope to never again see anything so scary and disturbing. Take my advice: don't see it!

"Event Horizon" with Sam Neil and Lawrence Fishburne is still a good one. Watched it again after 15 plus years a couple weeks ago and walked away saying to myself, "that is still a properly creepy movie".

I'm not a fan of horror movies as a rule but that's one of my favorites.  Very creepy!  Sam Neil is amazing, and I went right from seeing Jurassic Park to seeing that one! :o
