Yes that. I was thinking the same thing and was about to post it, but then noticed there's another page to the thread.  :duh:

To add to it, they could be LGK1.0 for first version.

Possibly LGK-Desktop with LGK-Line Source, LGK-LCR, and LGK-whatever for the other possible versions.

So we're looking at maybe middle of Feb timeframe?

With the holidays coming up, figured it would add a delay to the delivery.

I don't think the manufacturing facilities are too effected by our holidays.

I thought Christmas was universal  :D

But now that you mention it, if this is from China than Chinese New Year is a bigger deal.

Yeah, the country closes down for Chinese New Year, and it's about a month long.

Probably a daft thought, but any potential to use the drivers in a modest cost OB line array?

Naive newbie

From previous page:

I might even design a long and narrow open baffle array of these. I could just let a single unit play full range while the rest cover the lower region. Or I could drop an open baffle tweeter into the mix like one of the Neo's.

Dangit, now you got me thinkin' agin', and the caffeine ain't even kicked in yet.

I'd be up for a line array passive small club PA system if the price is right and I can get the cash together (i.e. "MORE GIGS!")..

It would be a thin three way design. You can do a T26SG tweeter in the center. It has high sensitivity.

Then put a pair of these above and a pair below in a series parallel configuration. That will get you up to about 93 to 94db. There is your MMTMM center. Then you can do a long line of a bunch of them to cover and fill in the lower ranges. I'd use a low crossover point, first order, crossover between the ones used as mids and the ones used as woofers.  It could be a WWWWWWWWMMTMMWWWWWWWW array.  :thumb: And then you'd need something to handle the range from about 80 to 150Hz and down (depending on where these roll off in an open baffle).

That would be pretty awesome. A real narrow baffle with a wing down one side....  It would sure image well.

It would sure be slick to modularize these things. Realistically speaking, I could probably spring for at least a single line array  unit designed for a solo performer in a small "coffee shop" type setting sometime in late Q12014 or early 2Q, even with the current state of our (depressing) booking frequency.
