I just sent my Avastar in for the FetValve CF upgrade and put my  3 pair of matched 6CG7's for sale  on  Audiocircle.  They are good tubes in great shape.

coldfogey, I have an Avastar as well. Fantastic that you are going for the FetValve CF upgrade. How long is the turn around time? I hope you post your impressions after you get the upgrade back in your system.

I've had an Avastar for several years and I see no reason to do an upgrade. Sounds very good to me!!

Once you hear something better in your own opinion will you feel you need to upgrade, factoring in cost of course.
