Focal Drivers

Hi Jim or Dennis,
Just wondering if you've ever considered using Focal Utopia drivers in one of your speaker designs. I had a pair of speakers (prior to my current one's) that used a raven 1 ribbon tweeter and 2 7inch (7K4211db discontinued) midbass drivers in a standmount mtm design. I really do like the seas drivers but also the Utopia's I thought sounded very good as well.
I'm only enquiring
Cheers Rod

At one time, Focal drivers were quite popular with the DIY crowd. But, as I recall, Focal decided to close that market down. I don't think they are available for other builders.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the reply. Its a pity that they aren't available because they do have their own sound. The seas drivers that you use a very good in comparison and from my memory aren't too far behind accuton drivers.
Regards Rod
