I’m selling a Dared DV-6C six-channel hybrid [tube preamp/Class D power] integrated amp. I replaced the stock Chinese 12AX7s with a trio of Mullard reissue 12AX7s. The unit has about 400 hours of play time. In a small to medium size home theater room, this thing is a real hoot. With reasonably efficient speakers, it will play plenty loud to recreate the audio portion of cinematic fireballs, yet remain smooth with excellent soundstage and imaging thanks to the tube preamp. For grins I inserted the DV-6C into my all-Magnepan home theater system. While the Dared did not appreciate the current hungry 4-ohm impedance of the Maggies, it sounded pretty darn good. In addition to master volume control, the remote has independent volume controls for front channels, center channel, surround channels and subwoofer. The remote also has the ability to switch between 5.0, 5.1, 2.1 and stereo outputs and switch the amp into/out of standby. In addition to 5.1 RCA inputs, the unit has auxiliary stereo RCA inputs. I have the factory shipping box/packing materials [which aren’t that great, so the unit will be double boxed/insulated], remote control, power cord, owner’s manual and tube covers [which I don‘t use]. The Chinese and Mullard tubes will convey with the unit.
