I have never listened to 2 originals, but I prefer stereo subs.  I think Tyson did a good job of articulating why.

while, in my big room, i wouldn't want to replace my two larger subs w/two originals, i definitely would prefer two originals over only one larger, if that were the choice.  stereo subs is *definitely* the way to go, imo...
