Have it (on CD)! Love it! In case you are unaware, also released from same recording session on Candid is "Walkin' Blues", also with Robert Lockwood, Jr.
Terrific stuff.
Picture below shows ticket stub signed by RL, Jr., from when I saw, and had the privilege of speaking with him, back in 2002 in Atlanta.

The famous bluesman Robert Johnson lived with Lockwood's mother for 10 years off and on after his parents' divorce. Lockwood learned from Johnson not only how to play guitar, but timing and stage presence as well. Because of his personal and professional association with the music of Robert Johnson, he became known as "Robert Junior" Lockwood, a nickname by which he was known among fellow musicians for the rest of his life, although he later frequently professed his dislike for this appellation.

Last disc spun last evening was this gem I picked up at its CD release party a long time ago, back when I lived in Detroit.
Blues, rockabilly-style. Tasty guitar work from "Gorgeous" George and ethereal maracas shaking from "Fast" Freddy (RIP).

MODIFIED - My appologies to all blues followers, but this really is not blues blues. Not sure what I was thinking when I posted. At best it is jump-blues and/or blues-based. But it really is more rockabilly, and really more rock than billy. Sort of, as if Motorhead had a child out of wedlock with the Stray Cats, it would be the Twistin' Tarantulas. Excellent music nonetheless!
