A voice that's almost too perfect to sing the Blues. My favorite Odetta story is how she nicknamed Jack Elliot, "Ramblin' Jack". It wasn't that he traveled around a lot, he did, It was because he couldn't shut up.

Doc - if you don't have the DVD of "Blues at Montreaux", put together by Santana, you should check it out. 3 discs, Buddy Guy, Gatemouth, & Bobby Parker. They're all good, but Gatemouth is amazing (imo). He plays it all, blues, jazz, etc. It was video'd a year before his passing at 84, and he didn't miss a beat.
