Which of these would you get?

Here are my prefrences/gear. I have a small room and like Alt. rock but listen to a bit of everything. I want speakers that are forward, dynamic, clear, powerful, and have bass. Ill be driving the speakers with a Jolida 302B tube amp. I have IXOS Super Gamma 7 bi-wire and Audience Conductor interconnects.

Here are my choices:
Vandersteen 3, Audio Physic Spark I, PSB Gold-I, Spendor S6, JM Labs Chorus 726 S

Any speakers I should eliminate? What would you get?

That is small. Many of those speakers are too big I think.

Monitors would be nice with a good sub.

Unless those towers only have 2 drivers, you won't be able to sit far enough from them for the multiple drivers to integrate well I'm sure there are other issues as well, and early reflections must exacerbate the driver integration issue.

There's some nice two way towers that would work well under the circumstances. I'd rather avoid standmounts, too- just to avoid needing the stands.

By the way I plan on getting some acoustic room treatment, some Auralex panels and bass traps.

Your Jolida is 50 watts....have you heard any of these speakers ??

I thought they would all be fine with 50 tube watts per channel......

No thats why im asking which is the best for my prefrences.

Will my amp drive these speakers well? Any other recommended speakers?

The reviewer also states that the PSB needs power.....your Jolida.....50 watts. Might as well cross that off....right??

Yeah no PSB....Spendor and Chorus now, unless you have any other speaker recommendations.

If you go by the sensitivity spec's....with you Jolida 50 wpc...then the JM Labs would be the one to listen to. Its sensitivity rating is 91.5db, an easier load to drive with your amp. The Spendor rating is 88db. But listen to both...cause no one can TELL you what to buy. They don't have your ears.....

If I get the Spendor S8 the sensitivity is 89 db. Think the Jolida can handle that?
